Jian Hong Chen has a strong background in product design, with experience in leading and designing products from concept to launch. Currently, Jian is working at Nas Company as the Lead Product Designer, where they oversee a team and scale Nas.io. Prior to this, they worked as a Product Designer at Nas Company, where they were responsible for designing and launching products such as Nas.io and the Nas mobile app. They also played a key role in redesigning the sales landing page, resulting in a 300% increase in conversion.
Before joining Nas Company, Jian worked at Rakuten Viki as a UX Designer, conducting user research and designing the end-video experience. They also worked on various other design projects across different parts of the product.
In 2020, Jian worked at Singlife, first as a Junior Digital Creative & Product Designer, where they created an illustration design system and collaborated with the Web Product Manager on designing product pages. They also worked on the animation for a hero video for a new product launch. Later, they took on the role of Designer, working with a design agency on executing design briefs for social media channels and collaborating with the marketing and product teams for the successful launch of the Singlife account.
Jian's work experience began in 2017 at PRecious Communications, where they worked as a Junior Client Associate.
Jian Hong Chen obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication and New Media (Major) with a minor in Interactive Media Development from the National University of Singapore, from the year 2018 to 2022. Prior to that, they attended Dunman High School from 2010 to 2015. Additionally, Jian Hong Chen has obtained several certifications in various fields such as Artificial Intelligence, Digital Product Management, AI Accountability, Front-End Web UI Frameworks and Tools, Blockchain Basics, and Programming Fundamentals from different institutions including LinkedIn, University of Virginia Darden School of Business, The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, and Coursera.
