Ivan Zvonkov is a Machine Learning Engineer at NASA Harvest, where expertise has led to the development of an innovative Google Cloud architecture for cropland mapping and deployment of a Yolov5 model for crop type detection. Previously, as a Data Scientist at TradeSun, Inc., Ivan enhanced document classification accuracy and optimized data pipeline architecture. Experience also includes a role as a Software Developer Intern at IBM, where Ivan received the IBM Manager’s Choice Award for contributions to workflow automation. Ivan holds a Master's degree in Computer Science from the University of Maryland and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Software Engineering from Western University. Leadership experience includes serving as President of the Engineering Student Societies' Council of Ontario, representing approximately 30,000 students.
