Matthew Bennett is an experienced Project Systems Engineer at Jet Propulsion Laboratory since October 2010, currently working on the Surface Biology and Geology Mission, where responsibilities include managing engineering efforts for a dual-spacecraft and dual-instrument program, overseeing requirements development, and leading integration and verification efforts. Prior to this role, Matthew served as Project Manager at the University of Michigan from October 2008 to October 2010, where a team was led to develop and launch the Radio Aurora eXplorer (RAX) spacecraft aimed at studying space weather phenomena. Matthew holds a Master of Engineering in Space Systems Engineering from the University of Michigan and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering from UC Irvine.
