Rafael Martinez is an experienced professional with a strong background in engineering and project management. Currently serving as a System Engineer and Industrial and Manufacturing Technologist at NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory since November 2015, Rafael has previously held roles at Northrop Grumman, including Industrial Engineer for the F/A-18E/F Super Hornet, Project Manager for the JWST primary mirror structure and solar array, Program Integrator for the JWST, Master Production Scheduler for AEHF Satellites, and Material Analyst. Prior to this, Rafael worked as a Quality Engineer for the United States Air Force and as a Professional Student Worker in the Data Systems Bureau of the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department. Rafael holds a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering and an Associate of Arts in Project Management from California State University, Los Angeles, as well as an Associate of Science in Manufacturing Engineering from Don Bosco Technical Institute.
