NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory
Zachary Bailey currently serves as the OTTER Deputy Instrument Systems Engineer for the SBG-TIR Project at NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory, a role held since September 2010. Previous positions at JPL include MISE Lead and Deputy Instrument Systems Engineer for the Europa Clipper Project, as well as Instrument Engineer for SHERLOC and Mastcam-Z on the Mars 2020 Rover. Earlier experience includes a Systems Engineering role in the Mars Formulation Office and internships at JPL, BLUE ORIGIN, and Aerojet focusing on systems engineering and propulsion. Zachary holds a Master of Science and a Bachelor of Science degree in Aerospace Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, completed in 2010 and 2008 respectively.
