Alan Micklewright is currently the NASA Aviation Safety Program Manager at NASA Headquarters and has served as the Chief of Aircraft Operations at NASA Glenn Research Center since 2007. They also teach Aviation Safety courses as an Adjunct Instructor at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University and were previously recognized as the Patuxent River, MD Resident Center Graduate Instructor of the Year in 2004. Alan's background includes military service as a Meteorological Observer in the US Army and as a Naval Aviator in the US Navy, along with an extensive academic portfolio that includes multiple master's degrees.
