Alec Jacobs

Alec Jacobs is an accomplished aerospace professional with extensive experience at NASA since December 2018, currently serving as Deputy Manager for the Ground and Mission Operations Office in the Commercial Crew Program. In this role, Alec evaluates and certifies ground support equipment essential for mission success and acts as the primary launch site integrator for multiple crewed missions. Prior to this, Alec held several engineering positions at Jacobs, contributing to the Space Launch System's ground support equipment and operations. Alec's early career included a teaching assistant role at the University of Central Florida and internships at both Jacobs and NASA, focusing on mechanical engineering and design. Alec holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Central Florida.
