Amanda S.

Amanda S. has extensive experience in aerospace engineering, currently serving as the Artemis II CMA Assembly Lead and NASA Systems Engineer for Testing and Verification of the Orion Spacecraft at NASA since January 2019. Prior to this role, Amanda contributed to the Orion ESM as a Systems Engineer and worked on hypersonics propulsion systems at NASA Glenn Research Center. Experience also includes managing student-led research at the University of Central Florida's Center for Microgravity Research and Education and conducting graduate research on stress-sensing adhesives for aerospace applications. Amanda's academic background includes a Master's and Bachelor's degree from the University of Central Florida in Aerospace Engineering and Physics, respectively, along with a history of teaching assistance roles in both engineering and astronomy courses.
