Andy Sokol is currently the Deputy Certification Manager for the NASA Commercial Crew Program, a role they have held since 2018. Previously, Andy served as a Liaison Engineer at Piper Aircraft from 2012 to 2015 and as an Integration Engineer at Jacobs from 2015 to 2018. Prior to that, Andy worked as an Orbiter Structures Engineer with United Space Alliance from 2003 to 2012. In addition to their engineering career, Andy has been the owner and photographer at TurboFox Photography since 2009. They hold a Master’s degree in Space Systems and a Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Engineering, both from the Florida Institute of Technology.
