Benjamin Drew

Benjamin Drew is a seasoned professional in aerospace operations, currently serving as the Lead for NASA Space Sustainability at the National Aeronautics and Space Administration. With an extensive background, Drew has held various roles, including NASA Manager and Executive Liaison since 2011, and previously served as an astronaut during the Space Shuttle missions from 2000 to 2011. Their military experience includes significant leadership positions in the USAF, including Test Pilot and Squadron Commander, and they hold multiple advanced degrees in Aerospace Science and Strategic Studies. Additionally, Drew co-founded the Patti Grace Smith Fellowship in 2020, contributing to the next generation of aerospace leaders.
