Bobby Taylor

Bobby Taylor has over 40 years of experience in the aerospace and materials engineering fields, currently serving at NASA as an ER60 Technical Assistant and Solid Propulsion Subject Matter Expert since 2004. Taylor has held several significant roles, including Branch Chief of Solid Launch Systems and Analysis and Acting Space Shuttle Booster Chief Engineer during flight STS120. Prior experience includes positions as Solid Propulsion Team Lead and BSM Subsystem Manager at United Space Alliance, as well as materials engineering and development roles at 3D Research, Plasma Energy Applied Technology, SAIC, Thiokol, and Southern Research Institute. Taylor's academic background includes a BS in Chemistry/Biology from the University of North Alabama.
