Brian Baxley currently serves as the Branch Head of NASA Langley's Aircraft Operations and Engineering Branch and is a pilot for the Gulfstream III. They previously held various leadership roles, including Chairman of NASA's Eastern Region Airworthiness Review Board and the Airworthiness and Safety Review Board. With over 35 years of experience as a professional pilot and aerospace engineer, Brian contributed to more than 40 publications used by the aviation industry and the FAA for investment decisions. They also completed 20 years of service in the US Air Force, where they held various roles, including Aerospace Engineer and pilot during Operation Iraqi Freedom. Brian earned a Master's degree in Systems Management from the University of Southern California and a Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Notre Dame.
