Christopher D.

Christopher D. serves as the Mechanical and Power Officer Flight Controller and Instructor at NASA, focusing on the Gateway Program within the Flight Operations Division since January 2018. Responsibilities include providing technical leadership in systems engineering, coordinating integration of electrical power systems, and ensuring the safety and success of crew missions. Previously, Christopher held the role of Personnel Recovery Instructor III at the U.S. Department of State, managing curriculum development and training for personnel recovery operations. Prior experience in the United States Air Force encompassed program management and instructional roles in personnel recovery training, with a proven track record of managing large-scale training programs. Christopher holds a Master’s degree in Aeronautics with a focus on space studies from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University and has completed a Bachelor’s degree in Space Studies from American Military University, along with an Associate’s degree in Survival Instructor from the Community College of the Air Force.
