Christopher Nelson, PMP, is the Deputy Manager for the SE&I in NASA's EVA & Human Surface Mobility Program, where they currently integrate technology and system capabilities into mission architectures. With extensive experience in project, program, and portfolio management, they have successfully navigated hardware systems development for spaceflight missions. Christopher's past roles include management positions at Oceaneering and The Aerospace Corporation, as well as leadership on the Board of Directors and operational roles at Elpis Innovations, Inc. They hold a Bachelor of Science in Engineering Physics from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University and have previous experience as a firefighter/EMT with the Houston Fire Department.
