Dana Weigel

Dana Weigel has over 30 years of experience in aerospace operations, primarily with NASA since February 2005, where roles have included Program Manager and Deputy Program Manager for the International Space Station, as well as Deputy Chief of the Flight Director Office. Responsibilities have encompassed managing Flight Directors for manned spaceflight operations, ensuring astronaut and spacecraft safety, and providing technical leadership. Previous positions include Deputy Chief for the Space Transportation Vehicle Division and Lead Space Station Flight Director, with notable contributions to key missions like the first Japanese element mission and cargo vehicle for the ISS. Prior experience includes work as an Extravehicular Activity Flight Controller at Barrios Technology and a Quality and Process Engineer at Benchmark Electronics. Dana Weigel earned a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Texas A&M University.
