Daniel Kim

Daniel Kim, Ph.D., is a materials engineer with a focus on polymer and polymer composites, currently serving as the HLS Crew Compartment Technical Integration Manager at NASA. They possess extensive technical skills in materials characterization, processing, mechanical testing, and imaging techniques. Daniel completed their Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering at the University of Southern California, where they researched sustainable manufacturing processes. Their previous experience includes managing spacecraft window design and serving as a principal investigator for space suit development projects. Daniel holds multiple degrees from Cornell University, including a Master of Engineering and a Master of Science, with a strong academic record.
