David Erickson holds a BSIE in Industrial Engineering and an MEHS in Industrial Safety from the University of Minnesota Duluth. With extensive experience in safety and engineering, David began as an Industrial Engineer in Assembly Operations at Hutchinson Technology Inc. and later served in multiple roles at United Space Alliance, including Launch Operations Safety Manager, Manager of Ground Systems Reliability, and Industrial Engineer, contributing to the successful CEV proposal for the Orion program. Subsequent positions include System Safety and SH&E Manager at Aerojet Rocketdyne and Senior Safety Engineer at APT Research, focusing on spacecraft offline processing safety. Currently, David is an EGS Safety and Mission Assurance Engineer at NASA.
