David Stringer

Director, Plum Brook Station

David Stringer is a seasoned leader and innovator with extensive experience in logistics and program management. From 1995 to 1997, they served as Commander of the 31st Logistics Group and later led a team of 2,400 at the Arnold Engineering Development Center from 2004 to 2007, where they enhanced program development through risk reduction strategies. As the Director of Logistics for the Air Education and Training Command from 2001 to 2004, they streamlined operations for a fleet of 1,600 aircraft. Currently, Stringer directs Plum Brook Station at NASA, overseeing a team of 110 to optimize spacecraft test facilities. They hold a BSFS in International Affairs from Georgetown University, an MA in History from the University of Alabama, and completed a National Security Fellowship at Harvard's JFK School of Government.
