Derek Wang possesses extensive experience in communication and public outreach within the aerospace sector, particularly at NASA since 2004. Currently serving as the NASA STMD Director of Communication and former Public Outreach Manager, Derek has successfully directed public outreach and internal communication strategies with significant budget responsibilities. Previous roles include Information and Communication Coordinator at NASA, where communication programs were developed to enhance brand awareness, and Team Lead Outreach Coordinator at AI Signal Research Company, where outreach improvements were implemented. Derek holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business, Management, Marketing, and Related Support Services from The University of Alabama.
