Don Soloway

Don Soloway is a seasoned research scientist with extensive experience at NASA since January 1980, currently focusing on generative adversarial networks for wind prediction at NASA Ames Research Center. Soloway has made significant contributions to satellite technology, including the invention of electromagnetic position control for nanosatellite clusters and development of advanced guidance navigation control systems for various projects. Notably, Don served as Associate Principal Investigator for the Hypersonics Project, where Don integrated control system analysis into design processes for air-breathing hypersonic vehicles. With a strong background in neural generalized predictive control and robotics, Soloway has authored influential research software and tools widely utilized in aerospace engineering. Academic credentials include a Master’s Degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Old Dominion University and a Bachelor’s Degree in the same field from New York University - Polytechnic School of Engineering.
