Douglas Edgecomb

Douglas Edgecomb is an experienced attorney currently working at NASA since August 2019. Prior to this role, Douglas served in the U.S. Coast Guard from June 1993 to August 1995, holding positions as Deck Watch Officer and Communications Division Chief aboard the USCG Cutter CAMPBELL, as well as Regulatory Analyst at Coast Guard Headquarters Office of Marine Safety. Douglas has a robust background in law, including significant experience at the Department of the Navy's Office of the General Counsel from September 2001 to July 2005, where various roles included Assistant Counsel for Naval Sea Systems Command and Counsel for the Naval History and Heritage Command. Additionally, Douglas completed an internship with the NFL Players Association from October 1999 to May 2001. Academic qualifications include a JD from George Mason University School of Law and a BS in Government from the US Coast Guard Academy.
