Edgar Dillon is an experienced scientist and educator with a focus on human performance, nutrition, and metabolism. Currently serving as the Science Planning & Integration Lead for NASA's Chief Scientist Office, Edgar manages research planning and integration activities within the NASA Human Research Program. Previous roles include Human Performance Scientist at NASA's Human Physiology laboratory, Assistant Professor at The University of Texas Medical Branch, and Scientist/Nutritional Biochemist at NASA, where support was provided for astronaut nutritional assessments. Edgar holds a Ph.D. in Cell Biology from The University of Texas Medical Branch, an M.S. in Nutrition, and a B.S. in Nutritional Sciences from Texas A&M University.
