Ellen Gray

Ellen Gray is currently serving as the Public Engagement Lead for the Earth Science Division at NASA, a role held since September 2022. Prior to this, Ellen worked at NASA Goddard Space Flight Center from May 2011 to October 2022 as an Earth Science Writer, focusing on news features, press releases, communication strategy, and outreach activities. Ellen also gained experience as a Lab Manager at the Paytan Chemical Oceanography Lab at the University of California, Santa Cruz from October 2007 to July 2010. Educational qualifications include a Master of Arts in Science Writing from The Johns Hopkins University, a Master of Science in Geological and Environmental Science, and a Bachelor of Science in Geological and Environmental Science, both from Stanford University.
