Gamaliel Cherry

Gamaliel Cherry is an experienced leader in educational program development and STEM engagement, with significant roles at NASA and other organizations. At NASA Langley Research Center, Gamaliel served as Director of the Stennis Space Center Education, overseeing various educational initiatives, including professional development and internships. As Deputy Educator for Professional Development and Branch Head of OHCM Collaboration and Talent Development, Gamaliel led project management and organizational development efforts. Currently, as Director of the Office of STEM Engagement at NASA's Johnson Space Center, Gamaliel manages a diverse portfolio of initiatives that reach over 14,000 students annually, ensuring fiscal stewardship and curriculum innovation. Additionally, Gamaliel has worked as a Curriculum Designer at STEMLingo and STEMBoard, focusing on STEM learning experiences and educational content. Educational credentials include a Bachelor's degree in Education and advanced degrees in Educational/Instructional Technology from Old Dominion University.
