Grant Tremblay

Vice Chair, NASA Astrophysics Advisory Committee

Grant Tremblay is an Astrophysicist and the External Relations Lead at the Center for Astrophysics | Harvard & Smithsonian. They were formerly a NASA Einstein Fellow at Yale University and served as a Fellow and Astronomer at the European Southern Observatory. Tremblay's doctoral thesis work took place at the Space Telescope Science Institute, Johns Hopkins University, and Rochester Institute of Technology. Currently, they lead the Lynx X-ray Observatory Science Support Office and support flight operations for the Chandra X-ray Observatory. Tremblay has authored two popular science books, contributed to over one hundred refereed publications, and held significant leadership roles within NASA and the American Astronomical Society.
