Greg Bond is a highly experienced aerospace engineer with a focus on safety and mission assurance within NASA's operations. Currently serving as the JSC SMA Directorate USDV Flight/Integration Lead since June 2020, Greg is pivotal in the technical and operational leadership for the United States Deorbit Vehicle, ensuring safe deorbiting of the International Space Station. Prior to this role, Greg was an ISS Vehicle Safety Engineer, where responsibilities included systems engineering for ISS robotics operations. Greg's background also features substantial experience as a Systems Safety Engineer at SAIC, performing safety assessments on the ISS and its visiting vehicles while leading multiple ISS Safety Review Panels. Educationally, Greg holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Baylor University and advanced studies in Chemistry from Rice University.
