Hal Maring is a Program Scientist at NASA Headquarters, a position they have held since 2002. They are also part of the NASA Earth Science Division, contributing their expertise in oceanography. Previously, Hal served as faculty at the University of Miami from 1993 to 2005. Currently, they are pursuing a Ph.D. in Oceanography at the University of Rhode Island.
