Heather Thomas has over two decades of experience in IT and management, currently serving as the Deputy Manager for NASA Web and Cloud Services since August 2012. Thomas has held various roles at NASA, including Lead Web Manager, Cloud Architect, and IT Lead for The Orion Program Planning and Control Office, demonstrating expertise in web modernization, cloud services, and IT management. Prior to NASA, Thomas worked as a Systems Specialist for J.O. Combs Unified School District and owned a custom PC business. With a strong educational background, including a Master’s degree in Organizational Leadership and a BS in Business Administration with a focus on Technology Management from Northern Arizona University, Thomas combines technical proficiency with leadership skills across different sectors, including food service and customer service management.
