Jared Leisner

Jared Leisner is a program manager in the NASA Heliophysics Division with over 10 years of experience in government spaceflight and research program oversight. They have held various significant roles, including Senior Scientist at NASA and leading the strategic implementation of a national space science strategy, managing a budget of approximately $800 million annually. Currently, Jared serves as the Acting Assistant Branch Head at NASA Langley Research Center, overseeing an atmospheric science research organization. They earned a Ph.D. in Geophysics and Space Physics from the University of California, Los Angeles, and a BS in Geology, Physics, and Mathematics from the University of Wisconsin–Oshkosh.
