Jason Weeks

Manager, Space Radiation Program Element

Jason Weeks is a seasoned professional at NASA Johnson Space Center, serving as the Manager of the Space Radiation Program Element since July 2014. In this role, Jason oversees schedules, budgets, and teams dedicated to ensuring the safety of crewmembers in space regarding radiation health risks. Additionally, Jason has experience as a Contracting Officers Representative for the Bioastronautics Contract and held various previous positions at NASA, including roles in advanced technology development and project management for significant projects such as the International Low Impact Docking System. Jason's early career involved serving as the SE&I Chief of Staff for the Constellation Program and working as a program analyst during its setup. Jason holds a Master's Degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Southern Methodist University, a Master's Degree in Public Administration from the University of Houston, and a Bachelor's Degree in Political Science and Government from Stephen F. Austin State University.
