Jay Pittman

Jay Pittman is a seasoned strategist and thought leader with extensive experience in civil and military space policy and governance. Currently serving as a Strategist and Pontificator for "None, Thank the Lord" and as an Emeritus member of NASA, Pittman focuses on advancing U.S. and allied space initiatives. Previous roles include Assistant Director and Deputy Director for Strategy at NASA Goddard Space Flight Center, where strategic relationships and initiatives were developed for optimal alignment and future success. With over two decades at NASA, Pittman has held various leadership positions, including managing significant projects and budgets related to space operations, and possesses a background in systems analysis from the National Security Agency. Pittman holds a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and Mathematics from Virginia Tech.
