Jerri Stephenson has extensive experience in human factors engineering and performance management, currently serving as the Deputy Chief Health and Performance Officer for the EVA and Human Surface Mobility Program at NASA since August 2014. In this role, Jerri has led multiple initiatives, including the Lunar Surface Incapacitated Crew Rescue and development of health and performance standards for EVA. Previous roles at NASA include Human Systems Integration System Manager and Exploration EVA Human Systems Integration Lead, among others. Jerri's background also includes serving as a Combat Medic with the United States Army and working as a Web Production Specialist at Tendenci. Jerri holds a Master's Degree in Applied Cognitive Psychology from the University of Houston-Clear Lake and a Bachelor of Business Administration from Abilene Christian University.
