Joel Scott

Joel Scott is a Program Executive at NASA, overseeing one of the world’s largest environmental data enterprises, which includes over 140 petabytes of satellite observations. They have dedicated their career to transforming NASA’s science data into actionable insights that positively impact communities and policymakers. Previously, Joel served as an Applied Science Program Coordinator and Data Scientist at NASA's Goddard Space Flight Center. They also worked as a Research Scientist with Remote Sensing Systems and held roles in the private sector, focusing on applied science portfolios and system modernization. Joel earned a Master’s Degree from Florida State University and a Bachelor’s Degree from Texas A&M University.
