John Sprague

John Sprague serves as the IT Chief Engineer at NASA, where responsibilities include acting as the IT Technical Authority and leading enterprise standards for various technologies. With extensive experience in IT leadership and cybersecurity, John has held multiple supervisory roles, including Deputy Associate CIO and Acting Chief Technology Officer for IT. Additionally, John contributes to academia as an adjunct professor at Washington University of Science and Technology and Webster University, teaching advanced cybersecurity courses. John's background also includes roles in government and military IT services, leading significant helpdesk operations and managing large teams, as well as holding leadership positions in professional organizations such as ATARC. John holds an MA in Computer Resource and Information Management from Webster University and a BS in Industrial Engineering Technology from the University of West Florida.
