Deputy Director, Integrated Aviation Systems Program (IASP)

Kate M. is currently the Deputy Director of the Integrated Aviation Systems Program (IASP) at NASA, supporting the planning and evaluation of experimental flight research. Previously, Kate served as the Acting Director of the IASP and held multiple leadership roles within NASA, including Branch Chief of Operations Engineering. Prior to joining NASA, Kate worked as a Developmental Engineer in the United States Air Force, leading system design and technical integration for the Airborne Laser program. Kate is also pursuing advanced degrees, including an MBA and an MA from Webster University, along with a BS from the University of Pittsburgh Swanson School of Engineering.
