Kris Brown

Kris Brown is the Deputy Associate Administrator for STEM Engagement at NASA, where they lead initiatives to inspire and engage young people in STEM fields. With over 25 years of executive experience in engineering and program management, Kris has previously served in various roles within NASA, including Deputy Associate Administrator for Public Outreach and acting Deputy Associate Administrator for Education. Their strong commitment to public service and science literacy is complemented by a foundational background in engineering, having earned a B.S. in Engineering from Virginia Tech. Kris is recognized as an innovator and strategist in the realm of spaceflight and communications.
