Kyle McAllen

Kyle McAllen serves as the Launch & Test Director at NASA Goddard Space Flight Center and Wallops Flight Facility, holding the launch decision authority for all missions since May 2018. In addition to this role, Kyle recently took on the position of Program Manager in the NASA Heliophysics Strategic Technology Office, managing a portfolio of 56 projects with a budget of $34 million. Previous experience includes leading genomic sequencing projects at the J. Craig Venter Institute, managing mission projects at LJT & Associates, and establishing the Analytical Chemistry Laboratory at NASA Wallops Flight Facility. Kyle holds a Master's Degree in Applied Molecular Biology from the University of Maryland Baltimore County, an MBA from The Johns Hopkins University - Carey Business School, and a Bachelor's Degree in Biochemistry from the University of Maryland Baltimore County.
