Lane Painter is an Operations Specialist and Senior Analyst for the NASA Mars Exploration Program, currently employed at NASA since 2023. Previously, Lane served as a Research Assistant at the Human-Robot Interaction Lab at the University of Chicago from 2021 to 2022, focusing on studies of social dynamics in human-robot interactions. Lane has also participated in the New Venture Challenge at the Polsky Center at the University of Chicago during the same period. Presently, Lane is pursuing an MBA at the University of Chicago Booth School of Business, while also working toward a BA in Economics from the University of Chicago and a Master's degree in Industrial Systems, Manufacture, and Management from the University of Cambridge.
