Laura Beachy is the Chief Health and Performance Officer (CHPO) for the International Space Station (ISS), currently overseeing health and medical technology. Previously, Laura served as a Technical Integration Manager and ECLSS Integrator for NASA from 2019 to 2022, and as an ETHOS Flight Controller and Instructor during that period. Before joining NASA, Laura worked at United Space Alliance and held the position of Senior Certified Pharmacy Technician at Target Pharmacy from 2003 to 2008. Laura also gained research experience as a Research Assistant in Optical Biophysics at the University of Maryland.
