Lee Allen is an experienced leader in aerospace engineering, currently serving as the Branch Chief at NASA since September 2008, overseeing critical manufacturing processes for space flight hardware and testing for high-profile missions including ISS, SLS, Orion, Habitat, and Gateway. Previous roles include Assistant Branch Chief and Technical Assistant within NASA's Engineering Directorate, where strategic objectives and technical guidance were provided to address program challenges. With a strong foundation in materials engineering, notable contributions include leading roles in the Orion Launch Abort System and the Orion Stage Adapter at NASA, along with experience at Jacobs Engineering and the University of Tennessee Space Institute. Lee Allen holds an M.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Tennessee Space Institute and a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering and Math from Christian Brothers University.
