Luke Roberson, Ph.D., serves as a Senior Principal Investigator for Flight Research at NASA, focusing on developing technologies for long-duration space exploration. Formerly, Luke held positions as a Science Payload Systems Engineer, managing the VEGGIE plant growth chamber for the ISS, and as a Materials R&D Chemist at NASA's Kennedy Space Center. In addition to work at NASA, Luke co-founded Energized Composite Technologies, which develops composite materials for energy storage, and has a strong coaching background, leading swim and dive teams at Merritt Island High School and Space Coast Junior/Senior High School. Luke held leadership positions in the American Chemical Society and was the President and CTO of Vaulted Technologies. Academic credentials include a BS, MS, and Ph.D. in Polymer Chemistry and Microelectronics from the Georgia Institute of Technology.
