Maneesh Arya

Maneesh Arya, PhD, PMP, is a motivated scientist specializing in engineering, biomedical and optical technologies, and human space flight research. They served as a Graduate Research Assistant and Postdoctoral Research Associate at Rice University, where they focused on cardiovascular research and hybrid optical systems. Currently, Maneesh is the Deputy Element Manager for Human Health Countermeasures at NASA, overseeing research and technology development related to human health hazards in spaceflight. Prior experience includes roles as Analog Mission Coordinator and Biomedical Engineer at NASA, where they managed experimental data and coordinated significant research projects. Maneesh holds a Ph.D. in Bioengineering from Rice University and a B.S. in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin.
