Mark Bowman

Mark Bowman has extensive experience in aerospace and space mission operations, currently serving as the Gateway Power & Propulsion Element Flight Operations Lead at NASA since 2002. Throughout a distinguished career at NASA, Mark has held various leadership roles, including the Deputy Director for the Human Space Flight Program - Russia and Chief Engineer for the Soyuz Branch, emphasizing safety and mission assurance for Russian launch vehicles and spacecraft. Prior to NASA, Mark worked at Wyle Laboratories and KRUG Life Sciences, contributing to flight hardware development and integration for the International Space Station and other space missions. Mark holds a Master of Science in Technical Management from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University and has received an honorary professorship in Aerospace Physiology and Medicine from the National Scientific Medical Research Center of Kazakhstan.
