Matthew Lera

Matthew Lera is a Project Scientist for Exploration in the Biological and Physical Sciences Division at NASA Headquarters, focusing on enabling science missions for human deep space exploration. Lera previously worked as a Research Scientist at Lockheed Martin, where they supported various spaceflight and Astrobiology projects, and served as Science Manager at KBR Careers. They hold a Master's degree in Biotechnology from The Johns Hopkins University and are currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Aerospace Sciences at the University of North Dakota.
