Maxwell Briggs

Maxwell Briggs is a highly experienced professional in the field of mechanical engineering and technology management, currently serving as the Chief Technologist at NASA Glenn since December 2009. Responsibilities include creating mechanisms to engage the private innovation ecosystem and maximizing the benefit of NASA technology through technology transfer and partnerships. Previous roles encompass Deputy Chief Technologist, NASA SBIR Entrepreneurial Portfolio Manager, and NASA iTech Program Executive. Prior experience includes mechanical engineering roles at QinetiQ North America and Case Western Reserve University, focusing on power conversion systems for space applications. Maxwell holds a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering, a Master's in Science Mechanical Engineering, and a B.S.E. in Mechanical Engineering, all from Case Western Reserve University.
