Michael Cavers is an associate at Holy Cross Chapel within the Archdiocese of Galveston-Houston since June 2024. Cavers was selected as one of fifty students for the My Introduction to Engineering (MITE) program at the Cockrell School of Engineering, University of Texas at Austin, in June 2025. Cavers has participated in various NASA programs, including as a Moonshot Scholar, STEM Enhancement in Earth Science Intern, and High School Aerospace Scholar, all in June 2025. Additionally, Cavers engaged in the Academy for All: Machine Learning Edition and Academy for All, focusing on machine learning and computer science topics, respectively. Cavers also attended the Academy for Robotics, where skills in assembling and programming robotics projects were developed. Cavers is currently enrolled at Strake Jesuit College Preparatory, expected to graduate in 2026.
