Michael Egan is a Program Scientist at NASA's Science Mission Directorate within the Planetary Science Division. They have previously held positions such as Program Officer for the Planetary Defense Coordination Office and Program Executive. Before joining NASA in 2019, Michael was the Research Lead at NGA from 2006 to 2019. Egan earned a Ph.D. in Physics from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and was a National Security Fellow at Harvard University's John F. Kennedy School of Government.
