Michael Grimalovsky is currently a Mechanical Engineer Lead at NASA, where they contribute to high-altitude balloon research and have successfully collaborated on a prototype designed for Titan, Saturn's moon. Selected as one of 80 interns from 3,000 applicants for the NASA SEES Internship, they also earned an Innovation Award for creating a moon simulation as part of the NASA App Development Challenge. Additionally, Michael serves as a volunteer firefighter with the Colonia Fire Department Explorer Program and advises on AI policy as a Student AI Policy Advisor at Middlesex County Magnet Schools. They have demonstrated a commitment to education through programming tutorials that have reached over 130,000 learners worldwide. Michael is expected to graduate with a High School Diploma in Mechanical Engineering in 2026.
