Michael Lammers is a seasoned aerospace professional with extensive experience at NASA since January 2004, where Michael serves as a Flight Director, overseeing Mission Control operations for the International Space Station. His leadership encompasses a team of flight controllers engaged in both planned and unplanned mission activities. Previously, Michael led the International Space Station Communications and Tracking Group, managing a team of 25 personnel, and contributed as a Flight Controller focusing on ISS systems. Prior to joining NASA, Michael worked with United Space Alliance from September 1996 to January 2004 in roles including Flight Controller for ISS Guidance, Navigation, and Control Systems, and as an instructor and simulator development engineer. Michael holds a Master of Science in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Houston and a Bachelor of Science in Aerospace Engineering from Iowa State University.
