Patrick Kerwin

Fellow - Disasters Response Coordination System | AMA

Patrick Kerwin is currently a Fellow in the Disasters Response Coordination System at NASA, contributing to efforts in disaster management. They hold a Master of Science in Geographic Information Systems Technology from the University of Arizona, and previously earned a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology, Human Biology, and Kinesiology from Colorado College. Patrick has served as a Geographic Information Systems Intern at the Arizona Department of Water Resources, analyzing water use and developing geoprocessing tools. Additionally, they were a Wilderness Trip Leader at Camp Widjiwagan from 2018 to 2023, where they led extensive wilderness expeditions and provided instruction in survival skills and mental health support. Patrick also gained experience as an Environmental Educator at The Catamount Center for Environmental Science & Education and worked as a Research Intern at Biosphere 2.
